The actor stopped showing up so they put on some old guy and claimed Billy got some weird disease that turned him old. They sent "Old Billy" to the Alien Ranger planet to heal. Then at the end of the episode they had a witness protection style video with "Billy" announcing he was marrying an alien and never coming back to Earth. Easily the worst original Ranger.
