People do know that Rin could have grown up before she married Sesshomaru and had these kids, right? She was 11 at the end of the original series, so if this show takes place exactly 20 years after the original ended (which is just an estimate) and these new girls are 14 years old (which I believe is already confirmed), that means Rin would have been 17 at the time she gave birth to the twins. That's not even unheard of in the modern day, much less in those old times where girls became mothers at younger ages in general because they weren't even sure they'd live past their 20's at all. If it's revealed later on that Rin actually was only like 13 at the time, then I'll join you in being disgusted at the idea. But right now, I don't see a problem.
this seems likely. One of the whole points of the show was the sons of the great dog demon, so them carrying on the legacy would make story telling sense especially since in the show there was only 1 pure breed male left and no females that I am aware of being mentioned in the show.
