whataboutthis doesnt make your shit any better man. maybe do a better job cleaning your dogs ears? you dont see people cropping other breeds with floppy ears. it is bodily mutilation for no reason other than cosmetic purposes dude and anything about preventing infection has no real proof to back up.

its totally humane to chop off a dogs ears and then tape them to hard flat surfaces for several weeks so that they stay standing up like that, guys! even tho no one actual says shit like this except for breeders and dog show people!!

Talk to people that have had both cropped and uncropped dogs then if you think uncropped dogs are not susceptible ear infections. Floppy ears are a result of domestication, the natural state of a canid's ear is erect.

Although most people don't work their dogs the same way as they were traditionally bred, cropping/docking had a purpose for working breeds. The Corso is a working breed and has a different crop than a Doberman or Great Dane, her ears didn't need to be taped "for several weeks" because the traditional Corso crop is shorter.

The pup is cropped under anesthesia by a vet, and they're up and running the same day like nothing happened. I've had to separate pups after their procedures because they were playing so hard.

This is akin to getting up in arms about circumcision. Like I said, I care way more about bad breeding, untrained, unsocialized, understimulated, unexercised and unhealthy dogs, which a lot furmoms and furdads have.
