Compatibility testing takes resources, as does solving any compatibility issues that such testing finds, and publishing a game only on your platform means you don't have to pay a cut of sales to the owners of other platforms. The extra work might be worthwhile from a pure dollar standpoint, but where this is a low-profile porting job that I'm guessing Microsoft isn't expecting to make much money from, I'm not surprised they don't want to dedicate the manpower to it. --- This is my signature.
