1. A good cop is a good person. If your definition of 'good' is 'efficient at their job's, you're missing the point entirely

Completely wrong, because then you wouldn't say "good cop" you'd simply say "good person." And most of the "bad cops" people complain about are ones who break those laws and thereby don't properly fulfill their function.

2. There's nothing subjective about enforcing nonviolent 'crimes'. I know people deride libertarians for throwing the NAP out like it's a DBZ move, but it's clear who is the aggressor in literally every situation where a person is confronted by police for a victimless 'crime'. That's very much objective, not subjective.

There's something very subjective -- and also very wrong -- in pretending that because it involves a nonviolent crime the law is unjust.

3. It's ok to not be perfect. It's not ok to participate in a cruel and unjust system and then go 'oh well I don't make the rules I just enforce them'. That same excuse didn't work for the nazis at Nuremberg, doesn't sway me here.

Oh lawdy lawdy lawd... You might want to table that until the US government is actively engaging in widescale genocide because right now it just looks silly.

More importantly, you're also actively participating in that same system by choosing to live in the system and supporting that system (directly, assuming you pay taxes).
