Thats 90,000 people. A large high school has 2k students. Imagine walking through 45(!!!!) high schools and instead of seeing 2k kids through the halls, in classrooms and the lunchroom... but every single one of them is dead

90k is a devastating amount of people
this is why i specified "on a national scale". of course you're going to personally grieve over the loss of a loved one no matter the cause and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but in the case of covid, i don't think we need memorials built, holidays instated or moments of silence held because it is ultimately just another disease in a sea of many nor can you expect people to get genuinely invested in the lives lost because of it

this obviously has nothing to do with preventative measures and getting the epidemic under control
