I sincerely hope that you will never have to watch someone you love die from Covid, only to see someone else calling 90k deaths insignificantthis is why i specified "on a national scale". of course you're going to personally grieve over the loss of a loved one no matter the cause and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but in the case of covid, i don't think we need memorials built, holidays instated or moments of silence held because it is ultimately just another disease in a sea of many nor can you expect people to get genuinely invested in the lives lost because of it this obviously has nothing to do with preventative measures and getting the epidemic under control ...
