I think the main thing people want to change is how some departments are so corrupt, an honest cop may not have an avenue to report abuse of power by their peers(or superiors). Lets say one of the officers in the Floyd situation had a conscience, and knew that hold was wrong and going to eventually kill Floyd. What if they tried to stop it only to be named and shamed in the department making tons of enemies or even causing them to get fired?

You hear not all cops are bad, and that is literally true. But what if a good cop has no reasonable avenue to report abuse of powers?

Thats one main thing. some departments are so corrupt they make everybody in them corrupt, even those that don't want it.

seems to me cops have the venue to hold each other accountable, the problem is the court system letting them off the hook, that is what should be checked out
