Yeah, no. For example, he signed a bill that criminalized animal cruelty. As much as I hate the man and everything he stands for, I do have to give credit for the rare positive he does.

Moreso to your point, it's not just that people are automatically against anything he says, it's that he typically has a vile worldview of us vs them where everything is zero sum. He's an incompetent moron who says a lot of stupid shit, and people dislike it.
