Generally speaking, I prefer the tight variety hour style of their shorter sketches most of all, but there are a couple of exceptions. Life of Brian at times feels like it could be a much more biting subversion of the Christ story, but it becomes equal parts incoherent and obvious, and it kind of loses its momentum.
