The Invisible Man (2020)Rating: 59/100 The positive press around this movie surprised me, so I went in with higher expectations than I should have. Ultimately, what I discovered was a movie where the titular character was just a formless, pointless cardboard cutout of a character that had no personality. The Invisible Man was a generic villain, and that left Moss with the unenviable task of carrying a movie by herself. The psychological torture she endures in the movie is kind of interesting, but at the end of the film, the wheels come off and the narrative descends into a bad mix of superheroic action on a low budget and standard horror.
