| Topic | I do not think there is any way to fix US police truly stop their violence |

A local donut shop took away their 10% discount for police and have been getting death threats for nearly a week, cops threatening not to respond to calls, etc. You have the clown at the NYPD getting on tv to cry. The LAPD stabbing people. Kneeling to lure protesters in to be brutalized, pepper spraying kids, targeting journalists, using protests as an excuse to just jump whoever they want. This country is so deeply, severely fucked that I dont think it can ever truly be fixed. This gang is here, they are armed, they are not held to any reasonable standard of non-violence, and they do not face consequences. Police abuse and violence is a fact of life and I dont think we can truly do anything more than avoid them and mitigate their damage, because of how deeply rooted and completely pervasive the problem is. The scale of change required is so unprecedented that I do not see it happening, and it scares and saddens me. dont talk to cops, do not trust them, and if they stop you, start recording.
