I checked through stuff from some artists I knew and liked in this vein (Jim Guthrie, fingerspit, Joel Corelitz) before settling on this one. Glowing Pains: Music From The Gardens Between is an OST to The Gardens Between-- but not exactly. It's been enhanced, combined, and mixed to create a fairly seamless album. It's something that's really made to be listened to end-to-end. It's why the tracks I listed above actually constitute a contiguous sequential block of the soundtrack. It took me a while to decide which window of five tracks I wanted to feature here-- I decided on the five tracks starting with Between Friends, a track that's probably meant to be the capstone to the opening set of tracks in the OST but works very nicely on its own as well, before going into the next four tracks that flow into each other and pivot around Are You The Same, which is the highlight of the OST for me.
