It's sort of basic human nature that if you kind of dislike something, or are even just mostly apathetic about it, but constantly have people screaming at you how it's the greatest thing ever and the pinnacle of human artistic achievement that you're eventually going to start resenting both those people and the thing itself, because it's kind of annoying.
