My 'breakthrough' was not being an idiot and realizing I could switch between targets. Head for Ragnarok, and body for normal attacks because it's faster not having to jump like an idiot. Then you just need a spot of luck with the lasers and it's really not all that difficult. I can't see myself getting stuck on this one again.
