If you mean human life then yes. As for our species specifically there is some debate on this. It has always been thought we evolved in Africa about 200,000 years ago and then the whole Out of Africa migration about 50-60,000 years ago. But there is apparently some evidence suggesting we could be up to 400,000 years old and another theory that we didn't even evolve in Africa at all. We would need to do a whole lot more digging to get a better idea.
