In their world, the man they respect the most is in charge of the world, making all the right decisions all the time. Everything you want to hear is the truth. Everything you don't want to hear is just the work of jealous people lying. Why would you have any worries at all if you don't ever engage your critical thinking abilities? Doing that is uncomfortable and requires self reflection. He hates the same people they do, and is proud of it, and makes them feel proud and strong.
