Topic	Disneyland's Splash Mountain slated to be rethemed to Princess and the Frog

In all honesty though, it's for the best. I'm curious how they'll pull it off, since most of the stuff is built into the structure of the ride itself, but it'll be worth it. It was always a questionable decision to theme a ride after a movie which people don't have access to. I know it was meant to reuse animatronics from America Sings, but it could've been its own original property like America Sings was. The important part is that now little Black girls can go to Disney World and feel like a princess. Some of you will roll your eyes at that statement, but it can mean a lot to an impressionable child to see herself (or himself) reflected in a positive light. I'm super for a princess and the frog ride, but not for retheming Splash mountain. I'm just generally against retheming a ride. It seems to only work half the time.
