The princess and the Frog was an attempt to revive traditional animation and a damned good one. It only failed to do so because the movie underperformed while Tangled was a huge hit. So they continued with the tangled formula. Your hatred of this masterpiece of a film is misguided.

And How is Princess and the Frog Woke?

What is woke? When I think woke I think Men Going Their Own Way, a far right movement. They coined the idea of being awakened to tbe truth of the world.

The princess and the frog was a half asses attempt of a movie made to justify moving away from traditional animation. It suffers from the same lack of soul that dark cauldron did, only with less ugly drawings.

the movie is also very parochial. You can enjoy the lion king without being an animal, and you can enjoy aladdin without being from the region this story was set. The princess and the frog is very, very New Orleans. Imagine a ride based on Boston wheres my caahhhr culture or NY fuddgetaboutit culture. Its too parochial.

Last but not least, look at universal studios previous Jurassic park attraction (practical effects, animatronics) and the new one (staring at two big ass screens). Theme parks are going overboard with the screens now because its cheaper. Disney is not immune to this, look at the improvements made at the haunted house, all the new stuff is all screens and holograms because its cheap: why should I be happy to see a NOLA cartoon frog in a screen instead of animatronics and practical effects.

just put Mickey Mouse and friends skins over the animatronics and call it a day
