You can't expect to be like try one day, succeed the next. It's a long process and part of the process is learning how to credit yourself for the effort so it gives you motivation to try harder. You're probably finding your way out of habits that were put on you without your permission in the first place. It was easier for me to get there cause I was babied by my entire family.
