There were many emotionally charged loose cannons angry at Malcolm for what they felt was a betrayal of their deliverer. The government used that scenario to their advantage and picked someone who they could use as a misguided stooge (Hayer) in their assassination plot to kill Malcolm X AFrench2 posted...
