My apologies; I assumed you were a Steelers fan

Can you understand that for some people, respect for the flag is so paramount that it means more to them to not support someone who disrespects it than it does to get entertainment?

That goes for any boycott reason really. Why would you want to support a person or company who uses your support to facilitate causes that you despise on a level bigger than yourself?

Does your own pleasure override a larger sense of morality and ideals? Honest question
I can easily separate a product from a person. I am not gonna not use an electric car if I think Elon Musk is an idiot. I am not gonna not use a trump hotel if that's my best option if I think he is an idiot. I am not gonna not play a game I like because the company does something I don't agree with.

Like I see all the nonsense virtue signalling going on and it's weird (I also think a lot of people lie about it).

I am not gonna buy Last of Us because of crunch!

I am not gonna buy Cyberpunk because CDPR made a assuming my gender joke!

I am not gonna buy Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft consoles because they are made in China, questionably by forced labor.

I am not gonna buy Nike stuff because it is made in sweat shops.

I am not gonna read Harry Potter because JK Rowling's doesn't have the same views as me on transgender issues.

Like, the list honestly is long, exhausting, and frankly dumb.

I have zero doubt a good chunk of those people are full of shit with their boycotts, and are also hypocrites with boycotts when it comes to their convenience.

Living your life that way is frankly dumb.
