his "abolish the 13th" slogan has more to do with addressing the deliberate loophole that permits the involuntary servitude of prisoners, if you look past the hit pieces and actually listen to what he had to say

seen many a prisoner bused to the city to landscape in lieu of actually hiring people, and working former slave plantations where they were imprisoned during my years in louisiana

there are things to criticize kanye for but his criticisms of the 13th amendment are not one of them
No I criticism him for his statement on the 13th Amendment because everything you are saying are excuses made AFTER said he ABOLISH the 13th Amendment.

And that was on the heels of his "slavery was a choice" comment.

At best he is a idiot who doesn't know how to properly communicate his thoughts, at worst he's an attention whore who intentionally says inflammatory stuff, knowing he can always says after the fact "I know I said X but what I really meant was Y"

Either case is the mind of a person I don't think has validity when he tells other black people how they should feel about political parties.

Prisons need massive reform, and the only thing the Democrats have going for them is they are objectively better than the Republicans, but Kanye has said stuff that even people in the Klan would go "whoa, that's pretty extreme"
