| Sad_Face 07/11/20 10:42:35 AM #49: | The purpose of marriage is to encourage a commitment between a man and woman so that they can raise a family and better contribute to society. The woman has someone to support and provide her security to be better able to raise kids successfully. The man has more motivation to contribute to society because he has the responsibility to support someone back at home. The kids, having both parents in the house has a better chance of success in life. We're in an age where a lot of guys are giving up on society, as evident by the incel population, and on the other extreme end, a growing population of women are hitting their late 30's into 40's while single.
