I pretty much assumed when I heard about it that Guardians of the Galaxy was going to bomb, and be one of the worst movies in the MCU, and no one was really gonna go see it because the characters weren't nearly as mainstream. It honestly kind of made me feel like watching Star Wars for the first time again, and it was pretty incredible the quality and the characters that they built from a very lesser known group. And it did blow up, because it was really good and humorous. I don't have a concept of how difficult that would be to do as a filmmaker but I appreciate the effort.
