For whatever reason, those protests do not seem to have caused an uptick in virus cases. And, even as someone who supported the protesters and recognizes their cause as extremely important, I find that astounding. At the time, I was certain there would be a huge spike afterwards... but there hasn't been. At least, not in those areas. The areas that are out of control now are mostly right-wing states that opened up way too early.
