I love that intro and while I'm 'biased', I prefer it to the Batman TAS intro, so I'm a little sad to see it losing out to that one. Like you said, I think it perfectly encapsulates the show. It first shows everything Terry/Batman fight against, and then all the things they fight for. I like how Bruce is constantly portrayed as somewhat threatening, almost like he could be some kind of villain on the show. But it makes sense; imagine being Batman all your life.
