They had biases on groups I should hang out with, and who to avoid. I couldn't even bring a black friend to the house. My parents never preached hate to me, so I never hated anyone,but I would say stupid shit when I was young to get a laugh or look cool, which most kids have done at some point, or at least boys. --- Less is more.
