So hypothetically speaking, lets say other parts of the United States/world reopen 6-12 months from
now and cases pop up the way they have in Florida, Georgia, or Texas. What is the excuse then? You cannot just have the planet stay locked up at home and collecting welfare for the rest of their lives or until a hypothetical vaccine is available that a good bulk of the United States public will not take due to being anti-vaxxers.

In no way am I downplaying this viruses seriousness, but I think a lot of the response from both the left and right has a lot to do with the presidential election coming up. The right is rushing things and not wearing masks. The left wants to wait until a miracle vaccine. Other places around the world are finding ways to open up safely but fir some reason we can't.
