Mattresses are insanely expensive given the materials they are made of, but you could just write that off as good business on their part. The bigger issue is that most mattresses use really shitty quality materials that don't last that long. The whole review thing isn't even that big a deal imo, since anyone who spends more than a minute reading that shit will see how obvious it is. Aside from sites that are straight up working for mattress companies, pretty much all the review sites get commissions from links to purchase the mattresses they review, so they're naturally going to have a positive spin on pretty much every mattress. --- ...
