it's spiking in 40 out of 50 states, saying "just these 3 count" is what a troll would do. Kinda like going, "Oh sweet people are dying now's my chance to make this topic!"

anyone who thinks because people weren't dying "enough" means covid wasn't serious aren't going to listen to anything but emotion. Just like you don't want to listen to anything but emotion when you want to say these 37 states don't count because they don't support my emotional feelings.

Cases have spiked across the country since june, deaths are still holding at the same level. That's a statistical fact. What an intelligent person does is goes, "Why aren't they spiking with cases". They aren't because it's largely lower risk people that are breaking safety procedures, combined with doctors getting better at treatment. We're starting to see upticks in specific states that are starting to fill up their hospitals that makes it more difficult for those doctors to give treatment. Which has been the entire point of flattening the curve is ensuring our hospital don't get overrun.

Argue intelligently or it makes your point dismissable. Healthy or dead isn't the two states of covid. Death isn't the only risk of Covid.
