Knock off the 'for funsies' part and it's not really hyperbole at all. The police choose to harass whoever they want with impunity. It's a contributing factor that led to the protests. As for excessive force, most police that engage in it know that so long as they parrot the words "stop resisting" they're free to do just about anything short of beating someone with a tool in hand.

It's only now that cameras are so prevalent that people can demand justice be just. Other countries in the world want further accountability, such as the idea that the police have to submit a receipt to public record every time they stop someone, so the public can see how specific individuals*coughdarkskincough* are essentially harassed day after day.

it wasnt even hyperbole.

have you seen the video where some cops make a black dude (of course it was black) and the cop pokes his face with his finger?

the guy swatted the finger away and another cop ran towards him and tackled him NFL style. He fell screaming and the 3 cops laughed. Then they laughed some more and they told him hahaha it was pretty funny man, you fell all fucked up, thats what you get for touching a cop! HAHAHAHA.

then they made the man walk on his broken foot while he screamed in pain (that can cause permanent crippling and damage) and they began taunting him like you sound like a little girl right now man!!

for funsies is exactly right
