The best quote from the committee on the topic: "Who is protecting our democratic process? In a nutshell, no-one is." And there are many other key tidbits here, including the fact that the government's reasons for delaying the report from before the last referendum were false, and that the government is trying to politicise the report to deunk it to help themselves.
