It's short, fast-paced, and has a real punchy aggression to it. The subject matter is theorized to be a combination of the film Psycho and the murder case of Nancy Spungen in 1978 (assumed to have been killed by her boyfriend Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols). Despite the amount of backstory behind the inspiration for the song, the song itself is very vague, taking the perspective of a killer threatening to stab the listener in a bathroom.
