But they got me with the twist once the flashback ended. Didn't see that one coming. So, just to unpack that. As I approached Cobblestone, the World Tree showed me a vision of the past to allow my granddad to tell me I need to go to Cobblestone Falls. Also, child Daniel can speak, even though present day Daniel cannot. Ok. Then the vision ended and Cobblestone is in ruins, razed under orders from the king. Because I'm the Darkspawn, right. Dang.
