| Centurion 09/15/20 8:40:21 PM #306: | Underleveled posted... You know what I randomly miss from old school Survivor (aside from everything)? Presentation themes. Like, they'd take a theme related to that location and design the sets, challenges, rewards, and even an occasional twist after it. Pearl Islands was pirate-themed, Palau had a WWII theme, China really dove into the culture and lore of Ancient China, Gabon focused on the Garden of Eden, Guatemala was archeology-themed, etc. That was something really cool that we haven't seen in years, and was something that really helped seasons stand out from each other aesthetically. Plus for many of the rewards they would dive into the culture of that location. Instead of just... random Chinese Takeout or something. I remember I would make a wishlist of what locations I'd love to see in the future - Greece, Madagascar, Peru, perhaps another region of Australia, etc. Too bad they're gonna be in Fiji forever. :( --- ~Centurion~ http://tinyurl.com/nvurdtw ...
