I now work at a college (just office work), and because of that, I'm more aware of clubs, organizations, etc. and the resources that they can provide (work study, scholarships, networking, and so on) than I was as a student.

I know that you're older than the average student, but there are usually plenty of 30+ year old students at most colleges, and because many are too focused on just getting a degree, they don't make the most of their college life, and I recommend getting as much of it as you can, including socializing.

ehhhhh be careful with this advice. its very easy to accidentally become the creepy old guy if you're in your 30s. You missed your chance at the wild fun side of college imo, but it's never too late to learn something new!
