It's not like schools in the US tend to teach beyond testing for funding most of the time. They also apparently we're made with factory work in mind, which while it exists still isn't nearly as prevalent as it was back then.

It's technically both a super outdated system and overall set up to get the schools funding more than actual learning.

Which is how I passed basically on tests alone. Homework doesn't even mean shit when you tend to get 100% (or above with extra credit questions) on most tests. Kinda sad actually. Hey you give me boring work to take home and tell me it's to prepare for tests, I'm not going to do it.
