Topic	Is Rey a Skywalker?

Are some fans' beef with her claiming the Skywalker name is because Luke or Leia did not officially "adopt" her into the family and simply annoyed that she claimed the name on her own? Given how some fans refuse to acknowledge Disney's material as canon, had Luke or Leia did "adopt" Rey, would some fans had been more accepting of that or still refuse to accept her as a Skywalker due to her Palpatine bloodline? Given how large the fan base is, I am sure we will never come to an agreement and that is perfectly fine.
