I was pretty shook a couple days ago when it looked to follow that 'buzzsaw' path right up the gulf coast, even though it's not predicted to become a strong storm - one or more of the major hurricanes over the past few years (Harvey?) went from a tropical storm to a Cat 4 literally overnight, so I always assume any storm is capable of rapid intensification nowadays. Yep. We even saw that with Katrina.
