If 25% of us are married/dating, with 1 child on average, we'd have 900 humans to start from. Studies say you need 50 couples and 500 total individuals to prevent inbreeding, so we'd comfortably reach those boundaries. From a logistics standpoint of, could we get enough people together... I still think we could pull it off, at least in North America.
