Topic | Is anyone pretty knowledgeable about SNES repair/troubleshooting? |
turbopuns3 08/17/20 7:45:50 PM #1: | my SNES gets no signal after sitting on the shelf for a year or so I took it apart, cleaned the pin connector etc. with rubbing alcohol, cleaned my cartridges, etc. Tried both AV and the RF switch for output, no signal either way I occasionally get a glitchy screen, most times it's black with slight static, sometimes just solid black. Never any sound at all I know the AV cable works for my gamecube. Technically I haven't verified the RF switch is good but I did just buy it from a local game shop the other day What are the next steps? I've surpassed surface level google search ...
