  1. If you try doing a numbered list with html on, you have absolutely no control over anything, and even if you just wanted to type "1. ", you're automatically sucked into this shitty format
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. ok

  1. If you type *any* number followed by a period, it changes it to "1. " and forces you back into a list
iii. There's a word length filter for absolutely no reason. It is trivially avoidable if you wanted to spam (and nonsense text is not even a very good way to spam anyway) and I'm sure blocks far more legitimate messages than it halts potential threadshitting. Want to post a link that happens to be long? Too bad.

IV. The image uploader really shouldn't be html only. it shouldn't be difficult to implement it even with html tags. There are a lot of good reasons to keep using html (even ones independent of the aforementioned plague), and it's silly to not have ported this feature to a setup that isn't obsolete

5) Why does this site only allow native embedding to a limited few sites anyway (or is it just imgur now)? it isn't like there's any weird error handling if it's just a link to a picture which is identical between sites, and if there is, i've seen plenty of other notoriously outdated forums address this fine

3 redux. It's cool that you can copy and paste an image directly into the text box, but when you have the asinine word length filter on, half the time you can't use the image because its link is too long. Or maybe the file is too big or some other error that it doesn't properly tell you

1+1+1+1+1+1+1. Did you know that the default imagetype used on Wikia, a wiki site that predominates the gaming world, is .webp, a filetype not supported by GameFAQs? That sounds like something that should be fixed!!

. I admire the attempt to stop the asshole teenagers that surely populate much of this site from polluting threads with racist nonsense, but the way the Scunthorpe Problem is handled is.... not good. It's smart enough to realize that it shouldn't censor the word "Japan" because of the first three letters, surprisingly, but any other case that isn't a direct conjugation gets shafted. There have somehow been multiple times where I've tried posting a YouTube video and gotten cock-blocked by this specific filter, and I'm sure that there are others floating around causing the same issue

ten. hey, at least we can edit messages. i'll give them that. uh how about the purge? fuck the purge

post more
