She gives a vibe of being cornered in most interviews with her. kathleen kennedy is a terrible CEO and it has nothing to do with whether or not she's a feminist. first of all, those interviews make it painfully obvious that she simply isn't a star wars fan in the hardcore sense. anything she ever has to say about star wars is just superficial rhetoric. this is pretty inexcusable when you're the head of fucking lucasfilm. second of all, she's made a ton of terrible decisions during her time as CEO. refusing to let JJ make the trilogy he wanted to make, greenlighting a completely gratuitous han solo movie when all the star wars fans are yelling for an old republic movie (not saying "the fans are always right" but this made it obvious that she's not willing to take a risk), firing lord & miller from said movie... the list goes on and on. --- Geothermal terpsichorean ejectamenta ...
