The problem is, different people define that in different ways. Are jump scares good enough? Does he want something that will make his skin crawl and leave him feeling creeped out even after the movie is over? Slasher films with tons of gore and more and more elaborate kills? Psychological horror where the uncertainty is what unnerves you? Does it have to be something supernatural? Murdery? Body horror?
