The Koroks seeds were repetitive. Though, I think they were there to help with exploration. And the only shrines thats got really repetitive were the battle ones. Though, some were different, and you got weapons and money from them. The other shrine had a bunch of different puzzles. They were like a couple of puzzles rooms from a dungeon. Some were even like mini dungeons...

ugh the koroks... Find every last one and ||you are rewarded with a piece of poop emoji.|| The need to find them was as necessary as maxing out half or more of the outfit sets' upgrades, because all you needed was some melee weapons, bows, and shields.

I bypassed the weapons breaking by returning to the same couple shrines to pick up more of the ones I liked most, because the clubs and sticks were too weak for me to give a damn about their novelty-level animations. Also, things like exploding packs of weak mobs with their own barrels they were dumb enough to sit around.

THEN I further broke things by hopping inside a shrine whenever it reached a certain hour, and coming out moments after (I think?) midnight, preventing the blood moon from taking effect and bringing back the monsters I had slain. Mainly I did that because I tired of seeing that scene, and the shrines were an easy fix since there were so damn many of them.

Let's not even go into my lack of interest in fighting so many of the right enemies that any respawns would have led to stronger enemies due to the hidden leveling system . . . that levels mobs and weapon drops. What I could find in those same couple shrines, and the Master Sword for specific fights, was more than enough for me.

Basically, I avoided a couple mechanics that made the game "interesting," avoided grinding most things except for rupees for a short time, and got bored with BotW somewhere between seemingly useless outfit upgrades and the game not letting me climb much of the areas I actually wanted to climb. Once the things I enjoyed were basically done, I stopped playing.
