Rules: 1._Vote for your favorite rivalry(ies). You don't have to vote on both matches, but it'd be cool if you did! 2._Traditional rules apply: No alts, no rallying, no cheating of any kind. 3._Topics will last for exactly 24 hours since the moment of posting. Back in the original Rivalry Rumble, people were pissed that Charizard vs. Blastoise didnt make it in, and Red vs. Blue got in instead. Pre-contest, I remember one and just one wise user who said: I think youre underestimating the strength and popularity of the Trainers. Red and Blue not only proved to be an incredibly successful rivalry, but it also beat Cloud/Sephiroth in what many people (though not me) consider to be the greatest match of the contest, beating them by 0.01% with a margin of 10 votes in a bonus match for 3rd place. Will it have what it takes to show another incredible feat in Board 8 territory? -Advokaiser Madeline vs. Badeline (Celeste) (Image submitted by Metalmindstats) "Theres a saying that you are your own worst enemy. Madeline, Celestes main protagonist, experiences this quite literally as she climbs the eponymous Celeste Mountain. The mystical mountain physically materializes Part of Her - unofficially known as Badeline - which seeks to prove that Madeline is no mountain climber, and that she cant actually do this after all. Badeline proceeds to torment Madeline through five chapters to make her point clear, though exactly which point winds up being a whole other matter." *-MetalmindStats* MATCH 2: Spy vs. Spy (Mad Magazine) Spy vs. Spy is a wordless comic strip published in Mad magazine. It features two agents involved in stereotypical and comical espionage activities. One is dressed in white, and the other in black, but they are otherwise identical, and are particularly known for their long, beaklike heads and their white pupils and black sclera. The pair are always at war with each other, using a variety of booby-traps to inflict harm on the other. The spies usually alternate between victory and defeat with each new strip. A parody of the political ideologies of the Cold War, the strip was created by Cuban expatriate cartoonist Antonio Prohas, and debuted in Mad #60, dated January 1961. Spy vs. Spy is currently written and drawn by Peter Kuper. The Spy vs. Spy characters have been featured in such media as video games and an animated television series, and in such merchandise as action figures and trading cards. -Wikipedia Jackie Chan vs. Trouble (Jackie Chan) Ah Good ol and lovable Jackie. One might think that Jackie seeks trouble when, in reality, trouble seeks him Sometimes. The other times Jackie really seeks trouble. Anyway, Jackie has always given us intense action sequences and stunts that pretty much no one would dare try in their lives. No matter the situation, being his fault or not, we cant help but be in favor of him kickin butt. The troubles he seeks are.
