Zeus posted... it was a semi-auto handgun (ie, an "assault weapon") which is pretty explicitly banned both under high capacity magazine bans and under the semi-auto ban. There is no semi-auto ban. There is an assault weapon ban that specific semi-auto guns fall under, none of which are handguns. Zeus posted... And that's not even going into LA's laws regarding hanguns.
