I love the idea of remakes and remasters, but in practice I seldom finish them if they're games I've already played. I played the shit out of SotC on PS2 but when the remaster released on PS3 I killed a couple Colossi and called it a day. Almost passed on the remake because of this but took a chance and man was I glad I did. imho it's one of those unicorn remakes that surpasses the original. For that reason, I'm pretty stoked for the Demon's Souls remake.
