The whining is annoying, but he usually understands no means no. I don't always give in. I find distracting works. He tends to move a lot when changing his diaper so I start asking him questions that interest him and he stops moving. I cannot wait until he's 4 or 5. At least he understands what I'm saying though especially if I get mad <_< My 4 year old niece just got into minecraft and talks about it all the time lol. But I feel like her mom gives into her whining too much. When Im over there I act so petty towards her just to set a balance lol. It's funny to me when I think about the perspective of people she has over, when I'm just acting like a dick to a 4 year old. But if she learns how to deal with me early on and realize not everyone is gonna cater to her, I feel that's overall good. Plus, it's not like she doesn't like me. I play games with her when I notice she's bored and no one is paying attention to her.
