According to the International Labor Office 4 out of every 1000 people in asia is a slave or being used for forced labor. Why aren't more talking about this? This is where capitlism gets us everytime. Companies export manufacturing to the cheapest source of labor. Trade agreements are designed to also prevent the sort of exploitation we now see all over. In addition to sanctioning these countries we need to seriously, heavily, fine these companies. There should be punitive action taken, where corporations have to finance a third party organization that makes the world aware of these issues and how corporations are complicit.
